What it is

The EcoFlow 220W Bifacial Portable Solar Panel is a foldable solar charging panel built around TOPCon monocrystalline cells with a front-side rated at 220 W and a rear-side rated at 175 W. The bifacial design captures ambient light and reflected sunlight on the back, picking up roughly 25 % more total energy than a comparable single-sided panel in real-world use.

The unit folds into a roughly 615 × 590 mm package for transport, with an integrated kickstand on the back that handles sun-angle setup. Output is over an MC4 connector with a bundled MC4-to-XT60 adapter for direct connection to EcoFlow DELTA / DELTA 2 / DELTA Pro / RIVER portable power stations.

Where it fits

  • EcoFlow DELTA 2 + cottage / cabin use. A natural pair with the EcoFlow DELTA 2 in this catalog. The DELTA 2 accepts up to 500 W solar input; one 220W panel covers the bulk of a daily recharge in good sun.
  • Off-grid weekends. The bifacial back-side picks up reflected light from snow, sand, light-coloured ground cover, and tent / vehicle surfaces — meaningful in shoulder-season cottage use where direct sun is intermittent.
  • Emergency backup. Single-panel storage footprint is small enough to live in a closet between uses; deploys in minutes.

Where it doesn’t

  • Continuous off-grid living. A single 220 W panel takes ~5 hours to charge a 1000 Wh power station in good sun. For permanent off-grid use, multiple panels (or a roof-mounted system) are needed.
  • Buyers who don’t already own a portable power station. Standalone, the panel needs a charge controller and battery. Most buyers should pair it with a portable power station (the bundled MC4-to-XT60 adapter assumes that workflow).
